Volkswagen revealed two new stylish concepts during the 2018 New York Auto Showan now are making its public debut at this year’s Concours d’Elegance in Pebble Beach. The Atlas Cross Sport Concept, is a two-row version of the three-row Atlas.

Made on the same MQB platform with same wheelbase as the original Atlas but shorter in length which allows it to have shorter overhangs for a sportier look. Futuristic cabin is dominated by two digital monitors, a 12.3-inch multi-info display and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment.

Atlas Cross Sport is powered by 3.6-liter VR6 that produces a healthy 283 PS and 360 Nm of torque and suported along by two electric motors which allows it to run either on pure electricity or as a plug-in hybrid. There is also another version without an external battery function which makes it a traditional hybrid. However, it produces more power at 314 PS.

The concept of pick-up truck Tanaok is based on the MQB platform instead of a traditional ladder-frame chassis. It  features similar styling from Cross Sport but gets a more sculpted and rugged appearance.

Atlas Tanaok also comes with a futuristic interior that blends both high-tech and comfort. Pop the hood and out comes a 3.6-liter V6 that pushes 276 PS and 361 Nm of torque. It is then mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission which drives all four wheels.
